Release Notes2025Runtime down and idle reasons

Runtime down and idle reasons

April 28, 2025

This release allows you to configure and track reasons for downtime and idle time. Reasons provide a way to more granularly track the root cause of lost production time.

This release also redesigned some key screens of the runtime app, including the in-progress screen and data submission forms.

Runtime down and idle reasons

Configuring downtime reasons

There’s a new tab in the Runtime section of the web console called Reasons.

Clicking on this tab will show you a list of reasons you’ve configured.

When you add a reason, you provide a name and a category: either down or idle.

Reasons in the mobile App

After starting downtime or idle time, you will be asked to select a reason from the list you’ve configured.

These reasons will be visible on your run timeline.

Reasons in dashboards

The runtime dashboards contain two new views for seeing your reason data:

  1. A table that lists each reason that occured over the selected period, the number of times it occured, and the aggregate time
  2. A chart that contains stacked bars breaking down reasons that occured each day

Additional changes

Edit from the in-progress screen

The in-progress run screen has been updated to allow you to see and edit results during an in-progres run.

Data form redesign

The data submission form for runtime has been redesigned to be simpler.
